Biography

Darcy is a Mom, School Based Therapist, and Professional UltraRunner who lives in Boulder, CO. She has been running for 15 years and racing ultras for most of that time. With over 70 Ultra races under her belt, Darcy has finished almost all of these in the top 3. She is a 3x Hardrock 100 winner, and holds course records for the Bighorn 100 in Wyoming and the Bear 100 in Utah. When she's not taking care of her 6 year old daughter or working at her day job, Darcy likes to run the trails near her house in Boulder.

Why do you choose HOKA?

I love HOKA ONE ONE shoes because they provide cushioning for my feet over long distances. In HOKAs I can run any kind of terrain including steep, rocky, mountainous terrain and flat, road surfaces at my best. Since wearing HOKAs, I feel like I recover better and I can continue to run long back to back days.

What inspires you?

Other female runners and endurance athletes. I'm inspired to be a good example for my daughter and to be the best Mom and friend I can possibly be.
