I am new to Hoka, making the switch after my previous shoe was discontinued. After years of watching others run in Hokas, I'm now a convert! Love everything about the Clifton 3 and Challenger trail shoe. Only suggestion would be to add a colored sole to the Cliftons (like the men's) for women. Great shoes!

Best Running Shoes I've Ever Had

    Pros

    • Cushions Impact
    • Durable

    Cons

    • Get hot if you run long distances
    • Poor Traction

    • Pavement
    • Road Running
    • Walking

Since I got these a month ago, I've ran over 100 miles in them. I have two bad from hockey injuries, and have tried so many different shoes in hopes to minimize pain, I was beginning to loose hope.
    Then I tried these.
While I wouldn't use them to run through mud (the tread is not deep per say and doesn't provide a huge amount of traction) and the height of them takes a few days to get used to, they are comfortable, form well to the feet quickly, and minimize the pain from the continuous impact of running long distances on the joints.
They are good on pavement, treadmills, stairs/stair steppers, and pretty much all other gym equipment, and don't look to bad with casual clothing if you don't want to always wear them with athletic clothes.

I use these shoes everyday for running, walking and everyday use. I was suffering from planta fascia and severe pain.
With these shoes my pain is gone and I can continue running/walking for hours.
I have bought another pair for when I go back to work. Nursing is hard on your feet and with these shoes- I hope to have no pain in my feet when I finish my 12 hours shifts.
Thanks for making a brilliant shoe!

      These are "the" marathon shoes

I started training for my first marathon in Clifton 2s, went through a few pairs, and my feet/legs were feeling all sorts of wonky. I think durability issues w/ the cushioning, and the tight toe box. So one month out, I stopped by my local running store and tried on a pair of Clifton 3s. You know they are "the" shoes when both guys working the store tell you that's what they're wearing on marathon day. Well, my marathon performance wasn't quite what I hoped, and as I walked through the Finishers' Area, I've never felt more exhausted in my life. But as I walked -- really, the cruelest torture in these big-city marathons is how far you have to walk AFTER the finish line -- it occurred to me: my feet felt nothing! I felt like Elaine Benes in her Himalayan Walking Shoes. And four days out, and still feeling injury-free. Already signed up for marathon #2 & I'm counting on Clifton 3's to carry me through.

          Comments about CLIFTON 3:

My first pair was fitted at a running store and I was put in 1 size larger than my regular size and they are perfect. My feet, legs and back hurt when I work, but with these shoes I don't feel nearly as bad. I now have 2 pair and plan to get another pair to match up with my scrubs. I have recommended these to several people who also love them.
