Good morning-

 I have been running for about 3 years now and especially love running trails.  Unfortunately trails can be a bit tough on me mentally and physically.  I  end up with pretty severe foot pain.  My husband had gotten a pair of Mafates and suggested that I get some.  I did and broke them in just in time for my first ever 50 mile endurance run.  WOW, is what first comes to mind.  Not only did they protect my feet from ANY pain but mentally gave me an advantage as well with the confidence that they gave me on being able to run without being overly concerned about what rock my foot might land on or if I might slip.  An additional but even more important benefit that I have with the Mafates is that I am able to look around more at the beauty all around me when I run because of the confidence I have in the shoes.  My eyes are no longer always staring at the trail.  I still scan the trail but enjoy the beauty-I cannot explain how much more enjoyable this makes my running.  To me that is what running is all about! 

I have recently starting using the Bondi Bs too.  Great shoe as well.

Maud has won for the 2nd consecutive year the Reunion semi raid (trail of bourbon).

 

 

90km in 14h18, 45min in front of 2nd and 2h30 in front of 3rd!!!

 

 

9th in scratch, you can see that Maud did nothing but go up in the classification.
